DAY 3: CITY TOUR DA NANG                         (B/L)

Breakfast at hotel.

Depart from hotel to Visit Marble Mountains– which is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Vietnam. It consists of five peaks. Located to the south of Da Nang city, these hills are made of marble and limestone. Nui Ngu Hanh Son is the Vietnamese name for Marble Mountains. It means Mountains of Five Elements. The five peaks are called Thuy Son (water), Moc Son (metal), Tho Son (soil) and Hoa Son (fire).There are numerous tunnels and cave entrances in here which make it more alluring to the tourists. One of the caves had two large statues of gods guarding the entrance. Statues of Buddha are present inside many caves. Since 1975 the Marble Mountains has gained popularity as one of the major Vietnam popular destinations. Visit Cham Museum. Lunch at nice local restaurant.

DAY 4: GOLFING @MONTGOMERIE LINKS VIETNAM                       (B)

Golf at Montgomerie Links Vietnam, Scotland comes to Vietnam with Monty’s new course, it has been routed to capitalize on its close proximity to both the warm, tranquil Sontra Beach and striking Marble Mountains which are clearly visible from various points on the course.

DAY 5: DA NANG – MY SON – HOI AN                                    (B/L)

Discover My Son Holyland. My Son is Vietnam’s most important Cham site .During the centuries when Simhapura served as the political capital of Champa, My Son was the site of the most important Cham intellectual and religious center and may also have served as a burial place for Cham monarchs. My Son is considered to be Champa’s counterpart Asia’s other Indian influenced civilizations : Angkor ( Cambodia ) , Pagan ( Myanmar ) , Ayuthaya ( Thailand ) and Borobudur ( Indonesia ) .My Son was recognized as the World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO .

DAY 6: COOKING CLASS OR TRA QUE VILLAGE                        (B)

Option 1:

RED BRIDGE COOKING TOUR (HALF DAY)

  • We start the day (8.15am / 1.30pm) with a drink at Hai Scout Café (98 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street, Hoi An Ancient Town, Tel: 3863210) – our meeting point.
  • Visit Hoi An’s colourful market, and experience the amazing sights, sounds and aromas of this busy market. We will have the opportunity to interact with the local sellers and purchase some of the ingredients to be used in the cooking lesson later.
  • We board the Red Bridge boat for a leisurely cruise (25 minutes) along the Hoi An River to the Red Bridge Cooking School. This is a chance to view local river life, so make sure your camera is handy.
  • On arrival, we explore the cooking school’s herb and vegetable garden, before learning about some of Hoi An’s and Vietnam’s well-known dishes. The cooking lesson runs for about 2 hours – each dish is first demonstrated by the Red Bridge chef’s, before we prepare the same dish ourselves. Included in the class is a brief introduction to Vietnamese food carving (plate decoration).

After the lesson, we sit down and eat exactly what we have cooked.

  3. Crispy Hoi An Pancakes with Shrimp, Herbs & a Peanut Sauce

  6. Food Decoration – Tomato Rose & Vietnamese Cucumber Hand Fan

 

Option 2:

Tra Que Vegetable Village

Tra Que is a charming little village on the edge of Hoi An, the village is named after the sweet scented vegetables that spice up the every day meals of the Pho Hoi people. Here a new spirit for traditional Hoi An dishes like Cao Lau, Quang noodles, enjoy cooking class served by host with the local ‘Tam Huu’ spring roll which were primarily made from Tra Que vegetables and cake with meat (Banh xeo) has been enlivened.

Experience a day of living and working with the local people in the Tra Que vegetable village in which you will have a change to discover the daily life of farmers.

  1. Half-day Program:

08:00: local guide will see you at your hotel with your bicycle. you will cycle to a local farm in Tra Que village.

A short stroll will take you around the vegetable garden and then you can join the farmers in preparing the land and fertilizing it with seaweed from thelocal lake. following steps are raking the ground, sowing, watering, picking vegetables and many other gardening activities. after all these activities, you will take a short rest and enjoy foot bath before getting to preparing lunch with a local family. Your lunch will consist of many local delicacies including ‘tam huu’ spring roll, Banh xeo or local pancake of people in vietnam middle region. you can join the cooking with the chef on these meals. After your morning excurtions and your lunch, you will take a vietnamese traditional post-prandial nap before learning how to harvest and wrap the vegetables.

Around 14.00:  bid farewell to your host family before riding back to Hoi An, on the way back we will stop at Japanese tomb. End the tour  ./.

DAY 7: HOI AN FULL DAY TOUR                                (B/L)

Breakfast at hotel.

Depart from Hotel -Visit Hoi An old town the old town was declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO in 1999 as a well-preserved example of a Southeast Asian trading port of the 15th to 19th centuries,with buildings that display a unique blend of local and foreign influences. You will visit Japanese bridge , old houses, museum , Phuc Kien pagoda …., Lunch at nice local restaurant.

Afternoon; free relax. Overnight in Hoi An

 DAY 8: DANANG DEPARTURE                                    (B)

Breakfast at hotel.  Transfer to Danang Airport for departure flight.
