Yangon - Bagan - Salay - Popa - Mandalay - Heho - Yangon (Open Tour)


Welcome to the Graden City Yangon.
Arrival by either morning or afternoon flight to Yangon International Airport. Then, transfer to hotel. Here we would like to reserve enough time for you to takea good rest that you may need after a long tedious flight. Therefore, sightseeing in Yangon is transferred to the day before departure that you will enjoy for the whole day.


After breakfast at the hotel, you will transfer to airport for flight to Bagan. On arrival you will be taken to Shwezigon Pagoda a prototype ar later Myanmar stupa. Then to Wetkyi-in Gubyaukkyi Temple with fine mural pain-tings of  Jataka scenes. After that, transfer to hotel for check-in. Lunch at outside local restaurant.

Afternoon sightseeing continues with visit to lacquerware industry where you can study trditional Myanmar lacquerware making, Manuha Temple with gigantic Buddha image, a captive king's impression of life in prison; Nanpaya, an Early-style temple with the finest stone carvings. Although it has spots lights installed, it would be safe to bring your own touch  as electricity supply can be shut-off from time to time.

In the evening you will be visit the Ananda Temple, an architectural masterpiece resembling a Greek Cross. Dinner at outside restaurants. Then return to hotel and overnight.
(In Bagan there are more than 2000 temple & stupa. Indeed it is difficult to cover all temples within limited time. Therefore we have carefully seleced only some major temples for you in order to avoid hecitc tourism. But if you want to see more temples, just let your guide or driver knows. They can show you as much temple as possible within your stay.)


After breakfast, you will be driving down to Salay and short stop on the way will be made to study Toddy farmer's life like collecting toddy wine, making molasses, and making hand made oil.


Your Salay visit will include Yoke-son Monastery decorated with wood-carvings depicting scenes for moral lessons. Then a short walk through the ruined old monastery to Lacquerwaer Buddha Image and the ancient monastery. Then tour continue to Mount Popa (by coach), an extinct volcano, which is the abode of Nats (Spirits). On top of the mountain, there are monasteries, pagoda and shrines in different style. Return by coach to Bagan.Lunch and dinner at outside local restaurants. Overnight in Bagan.


After breakfast at hotel, you will be transfer to airport for flight to Mandalay. On arrival to Tda-Oo International Airport, you will be proceeding to famous Mahamuni Pagoda, one of the most sacred Buddha Image in Mandalay. Then a short visit to Fold foil making cottage industry. Check-in at hotel and followed by lunch at outside local restaurant.
After lunch you will be enjoying Mandalay afternoon sightseeing that begins with Mandalay Palace, Shwenandaw Monastery, noted for its exquisite wood carving; Kuthodaw pagoda, Known at the World's biggest Book for  its stone slabs of Buddhist scriotures. Tour continues to Mandalay Hill, a vantage point for a panoramic viwe of the city and a spectacular sunset view.
It is worthy to have a stroll up the hill enjoying panporamic views from different location. Return can be made by car as there is also acar track by the base of elevator just before the platform. Dinner at outside local restaurant.


After breakfast at hotel, visit to an anciant city of Amarapura, 11 km south of Mandalay highlighting Bagaya Monastery with a famous collection of Buddha Image; Maha Gandayon Monastery. Then proceed to 1.2km long U Bein Wooden Bridge. Lunch at outside local restaurant.


Then, tour continue to Inwa (Ava), and here you will be taken by a native horse cart for sightseeing around Inwa that would last hardly 3 hours.

Inwa is a historical capital founded by King Thado Minbya in 1364. Extended vissit will be made to Bagaya Monastery that is a fine example of Myanmar masonryart and architecture, Mainu Brick Monastery and old watchtower.Dinner at outside local restaurants. Then return to hotel and overnight.


After breakfast you will be transfer to airport for flight to Heho. Then drive to Nyaung Shwe where Inle Lake is situated. Excursion in Inle Lake ( by Boat ) visitinh to the following places like unique leg-rowers and scenic beauty, fishing canoes using special methods for fishing and collecting seaweed, lakebed mud etc to make floating gradens. Then you will visit well known Nga Pe Chaung (Jumping Cat ) monastery and Silver smith factory.  Lunch at outside local restaurant.


After lunch visit to Cheroot making factory, Boat making carpentry workshop, Silk weaving factory. In the lave afternoon, visit the most famous Paungdaw Oo Pagada. On the way back to Nyaung Shwe you will pass through some villages to enjoy life on  the lake. Dinner at outside local restaurants. Overnight in Nyaung Shwe.


After breakfast, visit to Indein, The hidden treasure of Pa-O ethnic tribes to see the ruin Pagodas in the forest. After lunch transfer to Heo airport for flight to Yangon. Dinner at outside local restaurants. Overnight in Yangon


After breakfast, sightseeing in Yangon includes visit to some major highlight like Gaba Aye (World Peace) pagoda and Mahapasana Cave. Lunch at outside local restaurant. After lunch transfer to airport for international departure. Bon Voyage.
