Saigon - Danang - Hoian - Hue - Hanoi (Open Tour)

Day 01 Saigon-Danang-Hoi An (Flight -D)

We depart for Saigon airport to board a domestic jet to Danang, a triving city that was a large American Naval and military base during the war. Upon arrival, we drive to the city of Hoi An. Hoi An was a noted trading port where traders from Asia arrive by ship to trade their goods. To day, Hoi An is a UNESCO World Heritage site with its living museum show casing the many Chinese wooden houses including a Chinese school, the bridge built by the Japanese, the Pagodas and narrow streets site is famous for the preservation of its past heritage. Dinner at the local restaurant


Day 02 Hoi An (B/L)

After breakfast, we take a walk through the old town to admire the preserved old Chinese residences and shops and the famous Japanese bridge. We visit the museum, a handicraft shop, the Chinese School and the riverfront. There will be time to shop for art, souvenirs, silks and Vietnamese fashion wear. A light lunch will be served at the nearby floating café. After lunch, we visit marble mountains (Ngu Hanh Son) and the town's marble sculpture workshop and the Cham Museum.

Day 03 Hoi An-Hue (B/L)

Hue is the ancient imperial city that dates back to the 18th century. The preserved ruins of the Citadel are a UNESCO World Heritage site. It also preserved the tombs of past kings and the institutions of learning, culture and the Buddhist religion.After an early breakfast, we drive to the imperial city of Hue. The highlight this morning is the view and experience of driving though the Hai Van Pass. Lunch at a local seafood restaurant on the beach.

Day 04 Hue-Hanoi (B/L)

After breakfast, we board a replica of an imperial barge up the famous Perfume River to the 7-tiered 400 year-old Tien-Mu Pagoda and the Tomb of Tu-Duc, the fourth King of the modern Wei Dynasty. To end our exiting day, we visit the ancient ruins of the 200 year-old Citadel and see for yourself the life style of the Imperial family. Lunch at the hotel. In the evening, we depart for the nearby railway station to board an express train to Hanoi. On train

Day 05 Hanoi (D)

Upon arrival, we drive to your hotel for a brief rest. In the evening, we enjoy a delightful and popular Hanoi puppet show followed by Vietnamese dinner.

Day 06 Hanoi - City tour of the capital city (B/L)

We drive through the capital city passing the various Government office, the preserved French residences and the lakes of Hanoi. We visit the Mausoleum of our revered founder of our republic, Ho Chi Minh; the century old Temple of Literature and the picturesque Hoan Kiem lake where you may shop for your souvenirs and gifts. After lunch, we return to your hotel

Day 07 Hanoi-Next destination (B)

Your overland tour of Vietnam ends today and we will send you to the airport for your departure.
