Half - Day Manila City Tour
Breakfast at hotel
The tour starts with a visit to RizalPark, named after the national hero Dr. Jose Rizal, the father of Filipino nationalism. After entering Intramuros, the “Walled City” founded by the Spanish Conquistador Miguel Lopez de Legaspi in 1571, drive by San Agustin Church. Visit Fort Santiago, the city’s garrison during the Spanish regime and JapaneseOccupation. Today, Fort Santiago is a national shrine and memorial. Afterwards proceed south to the modern suburb of Makati City, the country’s financial and commercial district. Drive by Forbes Park “Millionaire’s Row” on the way to visit the American War Memorial, the largest and most beautiful of American memorials outside the continental U.S.A.
Lunch at local restaurant.
After lunch, return back to the hotel.
Afternoon, free for leisure or shopping.
