About this tour

DAY 1: ARRIVE SIEM REAP (L/D)

Arrival at Airport and meet tour guide then visit Angkor Silk Farm at Puok District. After buffet lunch visit Killing Filed at Wat Thmei. Dinner & overnight.

DAY 2: SIEM REAP (B/L/D)

After breakfast, then start to visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom – Bayon, Phimeanakas, Taprohm Temple, Elephant Terrance and Terrance of the Leper King. After lunch, continue visit Banteay Kdey, Srah Srong and Angkor Wat Temple. Buffet dinner with Cambodian cultural dance show.

DAY 3: SIEM REAP – PHNOM PENH (B/L/D)

Morning Transfer to Phnom Penh. On the way visit spider market, Visit Kompong Kdey Ancient Bridge. Arrival have Lunch in Phnom Penh then visit Royal Palace & Silver Pagoda. Visit Toul Sleng genocide museum. Then Naga world Casino Resort. Dinner & overnight.

DAY 4: PHNOM PENH – SAIGON (B/D)

Breakfast at hotel, free on your own leisure in city or joint optional tour till the time transfer to Airport for flight departure.
Arrival at Tan Son Nhat airport then transfer by car with tour guide to check in Hotel.In the afternoon take a short sightseeing tour of Ho Chi Minh City to visit War Crime Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, Center Post Office and BenThanh market .Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

DAY 5: SAIGON – VUNG TAU (B/L/D)

Breakfast at the hotel then depart to Vung tau on reroute stop and visit the shrine of Fatima Binh Trieu Catheral.
FATIMA BINH TRIEU CHURCH, a former pilgrimage center by the Vietnamese Catholic, This is where The Virgin Mary Image appeared more than 90 years ago at the site Binh Trieu area.
Every year to commemorate mass services on the May 13rd at 12:00am, a ceremonial procession is taken place to pray and offer good wishes and health.
Arrive in Vung tau. Lunch at local restaurant before check in hotel and free time for a swim
In the afternoon Visit White Palace of Bao Dai – The last king of Vietnam, and proceed to visit biggest Christ the Saviour statue built in the year. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Vungtau.

DAY 6: VUNG TAU – CU CHI (B/L/D)

After breakfast at the hotel, return to Ho chi minh City.
Proceed to Cu Chi underground tunnels, an important role in the two wars of resistances against the old and new colonial powers (French & American). Cu Chi was an “underground village” with its abyss of hidden tunnels having a combined length of more than 200 km.
Return to Hochiminh for late minute shopping.
Dinner at Saigon cruise on Sai Gon River. Overnight at hotel in Hochiminh city.

DAY 7: HOCHIMINH CITY – VIENTIANE (B/D)

Breakfast at the hotel. Free at leisure. Until transfer to the airport.
Welcome to Vientiane, Arrive at Vientiane airport, and after customs & immigration formalities, Asia Top Travel tour expert will personally meet you and transfer you to the downtown hotel for check in. Enjoy a city tour to Wat Sisaket with its thousands of miniature Buddha statues. Visit Wat Simuang and Wat Prakeo, which was the original home of the famous Emerald Buddha, which today is situated in Bangkok. There are many excellent restaurants in Vientiane, and you will easily find something to suit your taste. Visit the huge golden That Luang monument, which all Lao citizens’ respect as holy pagoda. Visit Vientiane’s own Victory Monument, which looks like the Arc de Triumphe. This was built at the end of the Indochina wars with money rumoured to be American, and earmarked for the airport’s new runway. Thus the departing Americans dubbed this monument the vertical runway! Have a look at the lovely arches inside the monument. Tonight you enjoy a welcome dinner at a popular Vientian’s eatery. Accommodation: Hotel in Vientiane. Meal: Dinner.

DAY 8: VIENTIANE – LUANG PHRABANG (B)

After Breakfast, transfer to the airport for the morning flight to the former Royal capital. Upon your arrival, Your guide will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel. Then enjoy Visit Wat Visoun, the site of impressive Thad Makmo stupa. The rounded dome is stylistically more Sinhalese than Lao.
Continue to visit Wat Mai. Built in 1796, the five-tiered roof of the wooden Sim (chapel) epitomizes the graceful Luang Prabang architectural style. Visit Wat Xieng Thong further emphasizes the uniqueness of Luang Prabang, its several roofs sweeping low to the ground. See also the impressive “tree of life” mosaic here. The gilt panel on the exterior of the chapel depicts semi-erotic episodes from the Ramayana. Climb up Phou Sii hill stands right in the center of this small city. Climb its 350 steps to enjoy panoramic views for many miles in each direction. Wat Phu Sii sits atop the mountain, alongside the skeletons of Indochina war anti-aircraft guns! Shop at the night market, where hundreds of Hmong vendors display their handmade, handicrafts. Dinner tonight on your own but your guide can recommence the nice restaurants in town. DAY 9: LUANG PHRABANG – PAK OU BUDDHA CAVES- BAN PHANOM WEAVING (B/L)
After breakfast, Visit the National Museum, once a king’s palace. Displayed inside is a lovely collection of personal artifacts of the royal family, including photos, musical instruments, and many gifts received from the dignitaries of foreign countries. Begin a Mekong Riverboat trip with your guide on the mighty Mekong River to visit the famous & sacred Pak Ou Buddha Caves. These caves, overlook the convergence of the Mekong & Ou Rivers from on high, have been home to many thousands of Buddha images that were placed here by local people since 16th century, when King Setthathirat found the caves and declared them a holy spot. On return Visit Por Sa Paper Handicraft & textile area at Ban Xang Khong. Accommodation: Hotel in Luang prabang . Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

DAY 10: LUANG PRABANG – HANOI (B/D)

After breakfast, explore the town on your leisurly until being transfered to the airport for your onward flight.
Arrive in Noi Bai airport, you will be warmly welcomed & transferred to Ha Noi – Vietnam’s capital is one thousand year old city with peaceful lakes, French styled buildings, old quarter streets, three lined boulevards, brightly painted temples and pagodas. Ha Noi is one of Asia’s most charming cities. Check in hotel and Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.
18:00 Transfer to local restaurant. After dinner, transfer the group back to hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 11: HANOI – HA LONG (B/L/D)

08:30 Start the city tour by drive through the various Government offices, the preservation colonial French residences. We first visit to the Temple of Literature – the first University in Vietnam
10:30 Visit to the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and His Former residence & One Pillar Pagoda, one of the oldest architectures dated back from 11th century. Visiting this site, you will understand more about the life of President Ho, a great leader, Hero of national liberation and a great man of world culture.
12:30 Lunch at restaurant in the city
13:30 Depart for Halong city – 165 km east of Hanoi. You will have a deep experience about a nation whose 80 percent of population leaving on rice while moving through the countryside
17:30 Arrive in Halong, transfer to hotel for check in.
19:00 Enjoy dinner at a nice local restaurant. Back to hotel then. Overnight at hotel in Ha Long.

DAY 12: HALONG – HANOI (B/L/D)

07:30 Check out from hotel and transfer to Halong pier to embark our boat and start for 04 hours cruising on the bay which will bring you an unforgettable memory. You will be marveled by thousands of cave and islets. We start cruising among limestone islands and photograph of stunning landscapes of Ha Long. You will visit Thien Cung grotto, Dau Go cave which are considered as the most beautiful sightseeing places of Halong Bay. Some of the caves still remain prehistoric era’s vestiges.
11:00 Enjoy lunch on board while boat continues passing by the most beautiful place of the bay with the famous islets such as Stone Dog, Incense Burner, Fighting cock islet..
12:00 Disembark the boat and return to Hanoi.
16:00 Arrive in Hanoi, starts 2-hour walking tour to visit outside The Ngoc Son temple & Hoan Kiem lake, just to the south of the bustling Old Quarter streets, is an oasis of calm right in the centre of the city. This place is considered as the symbol of Hanoi Capital
Then free shopping in Hanoi Old quarters – the most crowded shopping area in Hanoi. It covers an area of 100 ha, just north of the central Hoan Kiem Lake. The original 36 streets that make up the Old Quarter are named after the goods once sold there such as silk, paper, silver, copper, herbs, cotton, fish and chicken.
Strolling around the Hanoi food street brings you a great feeling of our Vietnamese cuisine. Treat yourself a coffee or a local beer at a traditional house in the old street for a panoramic view of the city. Wondering in the food streets, you can easily find the typical Vietnamese dishes such as Pho – Traditional noodle, Nem – Spring rolls, French bread, local beer….
18:00 We proceed to a local restaurant for dinner, then back to hotel. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi

DAY 13: HANOI – YANGON (B/D)

Breakfast at Hotel. Pick up at the airport for next destination
Arrive Yangon by International flight. Meet with guide at the airport, transfer to hotel. Overnight in Yangon.

DAY 14: YANGON – BAGAN (B/L/D)

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to airport for depart from Yangon to Bagan by domestic flight . Arrive Bagan and Bagan sightseeing, “Nyaung U Market” A colorful local market , “Shwezigon Pagoda” built by King Anawrahta in the early 11th century as a religious shrine , “Anada Temple” – it had been built around 1105 by King Kyanzittha; from the architectural point of views and is the most elegant temple. “Ananda Okkyaung” next to Ananda temple, 18th century mural wall painting. “Tharabar Gateway” is the main gateway to the ancient Bagan city. “Thatbinnyu Temple” built by King Alaungsithu (1113-1163) and rising 201 fts from the flat, the highest temple in Bagan . “ Mannuha Temple” The name of the temple was given after the name of the captive King Manuha. “Nanpaya Temple” The four primary stone pillars in the central sanctuary illustrate the Hindu god Brahma. ” you can see hand make of Myanmar traditional lacquer ware . “ Pyathetgyi Temple” is a double-cave type monument and was buit on12th Century by King Kyaswa . “ Bu Phaya or Bu Pagoda” Bu Paya means the “a gourd shape pagoda”. The legend says, the third king of Bagan, Pyusawhti (AD 162-243), got rid of the gourd-like climbing plant “bu” that it is located on the riverbank, to watch sunset from upper level. After sightseeing, transfer to hotel. Overnight in Bagan.

DAY 15: BAGAN – MANDALAY (B/L/D)

Beakfast at hotel and transfer to airport for Bagan to Mandalay by Domestic flight. Arrive Mandalay, On the way Amarapura sightseeing, “Mahagandhayon Monastery” Where more than a thousand monks live and study the Buddha scripture. If time permit you will have the opportunity to observe the monks having their last meal of the day .“U Bein Bridge” built in 1782 at the time when Amarapura was Royal capital and 1.200 meter long over 150 years old, and the longest teak bridge in the world . “Silk Weaving Industry” Myanmar’s traditional and hand making. After sightseeing proceed to Mandalay and sightseeing – “Mahamuni Pagoda” the great facial of Buddha and it was brought to Mandalay from Rakhine State during the reign of King Bodawpaya in 1784. The image is completely covered with 15cm thick gold. “Gold Leaf Making Workshop” you can see how to make gold leaf. The square gold leaf tissues are hand-made in Mandalay. Funitures, shrines, boxes, musical instruments etc are usually covered with gilded relief patterns. “Shwe Nan Daw Monastery” a superb example of an ancient traditional wooden building with intricate carvings. “Kuthodaw Pagoda” make of marble and the “World’s Largest Book” is a 13-acre field of 729 pieces of stone on marble slabs. “Mandalay Hill” A superb panoramic view of the city can be seen from the top Sunset and overview of Mandalay city. After sightseeing, transfer to hotel. Overnight in Mandalay.

DAY 16: MANDALAY – YANGON (B/L)

Breakfast at hotel and transfer to airport for Mandalay to Yangon by Domestic flight. Arrive Yangon , on the way visit to LawkaChanthar Arbayar Laba Muni Buddha Image (Kyauktawgyi) and Royal White Elephant camp. “Shwedagon Pagoda” is the most popular pagoda in Yangon, also known to the Buddhist world as the first pagoda on the earth and the pagoda is one of the main tourist destinations in Myanmar. “Chaukhtathgyi Pagoda” it is the fourth largest colossal reclining image in Myanmar and 67m long . “Sule Pagoda” With unique architectural features 2000 years old, is located in the center of Yangon near City Hall. So, you can see “Window sightseeing”. “Shopping at Bogyoke Market (Scott) Market” with hundreds of food, clothes, handicrafts and gems stores; was built in 1926. After sightseeing, transfer to airport for departure from Yangon by International Flight.
