– Afternoon back to Phnom Penh visit Tonle Bati – Mini Angkor Wat Temple.

+ Chiso Mountain : This mountain temple was built of laterite, brick and sandstone in the 11th century and this attraction is located near Phnom Penh. The mountain is about 100 meters high with two beautiful stone-made stairs. Visitors can reach the top of the temple using the western stairs, which consists of 206 steps, in only 30 minutes, whereas the northern stairs with 434 steps takes at least one hour to reach the top and the view looking down the countryside is simply magnificent.

+ Phnom Da (Funan Ancient City) : About 20km from Angkor Borei, a town in Takeo province in the area of several ruins and archaeological digs,  is the hill of Phnom Da, crowned by an impressive 11th century Angkorian-era brick and sandstone prasat (tower) displaying some carvings in good condition. This structure was probably an upgrade of a previously existing 7th or 8th century structure. The temple was constructed under King Rudravarman and dedicated to Shiva.

+ Tonle Bati – Mini Angkor Wat Temple : Tonle Bati is a small lake and popular picnic spot for the locals – bamboo picnic stands and mats by the water. On the road to Tonle Bati there are two Angkorian Era temples, Ta Prohm and Yeay Peau. Both Temples were built under Jayavarman VII in the late 12th century during the same period that Bayon and Angkor Thom in Siem Reap were constructed.
