FULL DAY NINH BINH to visit TRANG AN – HOA LU CITADEL – MUA CAVE (with lunch)

08:00    Meet at hotel and transfer 110km southward to Ninh Binh province.

Upon arrival, visit Trang An, an amazing grottoes complex located just 4 km Southwest of Hoa Lu ancient capital. There is a system of unique grottoes like Ba Giot, Dia Linh, Toi Cave), Cave), Ao Trai Cave and Seo Cave. There are many valleys like Tran Temple valley, May valley, Khong Valley, Nau Ruou Valley…

Enjoy lunch at local restaurant

Visit Mua cave, constructed following the model of “miniature Great Wall” in China with nearly 500 steps up to mountains to conquer. You will spend about one hour to do hard trekking up to the top of the mountain for overview the  impressive panoramic view of Ninh Binh.

Hiking to the highest peak at Hang Mua is a fantastic way to start your day. The Hang Mua Cave itself is not that spectacular to look at but rather the incredible 360-degree views at the top of the mountain are what makes this hike so worth it! The best time to visit Hang Mua Cave Ninh Binh is in the early morning around 6am before the crowds hit or you can visit in the late afternoon as it is a great location to watch the sunset over the valley.

Then visit the Temples of the Dinh King and the Le King ruling during 10^th century. The Temples were built on the site of the Hoa Lu Ancient Citadel.

Transfer back to hotel in Hanoi.
